How to get Kaiser coverage
Woven can bill Kaiser out-of-network, I can bill Kaiser for lactation focused doula support. Please be aware that you have a finite number of doula visits available, if you worked with a birth doula covered by your insurance you may have used your kaiser covered visit.
Out of pocket cost
Because Kaisers doula coverage is so new, I do not yet have any guarantees about what coverage looks like. My understanding is that there is no copay or coinsurance applied but that not all claims are being paid by Kaiser. I will update more as I have more information about coverage. Please be aware that if your insurance claim does not go through you will be billed for your appointments at the private pay rate. An invoice will be sent 1-2 months after our visit if your Kaiser declines to pay your claim.
Travel fee
$100 for all home-visits

Prenatal lactation visit
Prenatal appointments work well as in-home, in-office or Telehealth visit.
Book this appointment if your baby has not arrived yet and you are getting ready to breastfeed or chestfeed your baby.
I suggest prenatal visits to all clients, so you feel prepared for those early days.

Initial lactation visit
Initial appointments consists of 2 parts:
A set up/history taking virtual check in
and home visit Home VisitBook this appointment if this is the first time we are meeting since your baby was born.
Please make sure to fill out the forms that hit your inbox before our first meeting.
Urgent need: Please send me a text if your need is urgent, I can usually schedule the virtual part of this appointment within the next 24 hours to give you a plan to tide you over till I can see you in-person.

Follow ups appointments can be in-home, in-office or Telehealth.
